The console launch is not a future roadmap item. The official August 11 announcement states that the game left Early Access on PC and launched on consoles, and the platform stores now carry the released game.

The full 1.0 release date was August 11, 2026. Steam records the same date for the PC 1.0 release after the October 22, 2024 Early Access launch. PlayStation and Xbox release-date material points to the console launch on that 1.0 date.

Older articles may still describe console versions as upcoming. Check the publication date before treating one of those previews as the current status.

Yes. Crossplay was announced for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and Steam lists Cross-Platform Multiplayer. The official public pages do not document one permanent invite-button sequence for every platform, so follow the squad prompts shown in the current build.

Crossplay does not automatically mean universal cross-progression. The current official record does not establish that the same Responder progression transfers among Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox accounts.

The Xbox listing requires Game Pass Core or Ultimate for console multiplayer, and the PlayStation listing requires PS Plus for online play. Those requirements let a console account use online multiplayer; they do not by themselves mean the game is included in the Game Pass or PlayStation Plus catalog.

For the catalog-access distinction, use the separate Game Pass and PS Plus guide. For supported squad size, see How many players can play?.

  1. Open the official store for your exact platform and region.
  2. Confirm you are looking at the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S product, not an article about the first game.
  3. Check the current price and edition contents at checkout.
  4. Confirm the online-service subscription required by your console account.
  5. If friends use another platform, read the current crossplay caveat before assuming a specific invite flow.

This page confirms released platforms, date, online requirements, and crossplay. It does not claim a PS4 or Xbox One release, universal cross-progression, permanent regional pricing, or inclusion in a subscription catalog without a current store listing.
