UPDATE RECORD 03 / RELEASED AUGUST 25
Hotfix
1.0.4.0.
Server, respawn, controller, loadout, achievement, and weapon-balance changes.
Quick answer
Section titled “Quick answer”NMRiH2 hotfix 1.0.4.0 fixed regional server routing, disconnect and matchmaking failures, several controller and loadout problems, the Lighthouse achievement, and multiple gameplay issues. It also added a final Survival respawn and adjusted spread values for 12 firearms.
Release boundary: Published August 25, 2026. The Objective-mode final respawn is explicitly scheduled for the next update, so it is not marked released here.
What changed
Section titled “What changed”| Area | Confirmed released change |
|---|---|
| Servers and matchmaking | Corrected proximity routing for some regions, including continental Asia, and fixed a “server is full” error when entering a match. |
| Responder survival | Corrected disconnect cases that killed Responders despite forgiveness and cases where leaving a match could still lose a Responder carrying a Rescue Beacon. |
| Respawn | Added a final Survival respawn at the end of Wave 3 and start of extraction; corrected “Awaiting Respawn” when respawn was disabled. |
| Maps and achievements | Fixed getting stuck in the tracks near the end of Broadway and the missing “Guiding Light” achievement after Lighthouse. |
| Input and menus | Raised maximum sensitivity from 2 to 6, added an exit confirmation, fixed repeated save prompts, and restored controller scoreboard navigation for mute, block, and report. |
| Cosmetics and loadouts | Corrected unowned reward display, duplicate equipped-slot display, preview cosmetics blocking saves, and focus when buying patterns or logos. |
| Weekly Assignments | Fixed controller input loss from the notification and made the Fierra DB12 count as a shotgun. |
| Gameplay | Carryable pickup now cancels healing consumption; occasional incorrect ADS zoom was fixed. |
Blocked players not being muted was also fixed. The notes mention additional minor gameplay fixes without listing them, so this page does not invent their details.
