UPDATE RECORD 02 / OFFICIAL DIRECTION
Beyond
Armageddon.
What the developer actually committed to discuss for the remainder of 2026—and what remains undated.
Quick answer
Section titled “Quick answer”In the August 20 roadmap, the developer planned several 2026 updates, including two in Autumn and a September controller and content release. Resupply 1.1 has since shipped. The roadmap’s October gameplay items, disconnect protection, and accessibility work still require later release notes before they can be treated as delivered.
Verification scope: Rechecked September 26, 2026. This page preserves the August 20 roadmap’s historical wording. Resupply 1.1 has since released; its confirmed changes supersede the roadmap’s September predictions. “Planned,” “focused on,” and “investigating” remain separate from “released.”
Near-term quality work
Section titled “Near-term quality work”- A second hotfix was described as incoming after the August 20 post.
- The team said it was improving Responder preservation around disconnects, with changes expected in waves as ready.
- The September update was described as focusing on controller deadzones and UI menu navigation.
- Subtitles were identified as an accessibility goal under investigation, not a released feature.
September content direction
Section titled “September content direction”The official post says the September update is intended to add more objective permutations to Lewiston and a new Pottsville scenario. It also previews new firearm attachments, including muzzle modifications and laser sights, designed to change what firearms can accomplish.
The September update is now documented in Resupply 1.1. The Firearm Attachments guide uses the released list of muzzle brakes, compensators, laser sights, and shotgun chokes. The August post alone did not establish their final variants or effects.
October and later
Section titled “October and later”The October direction is broader: more gameplay items intended to expand choices without overwhelming new Responders or invalidating existing builds. The post also references multiple 2026 updates, two Autumn updates, continuing 2027 planning, and pre-existing work toward version 1.1.
What is not confirmed
Section titled “What is not confirmed”- This August post did not set an exact release date for 1.1 or the Autumn updates; 1.1 has since released.
- This August post did not give the final September attachment list. The 1.1 notes name types and variants but do not give complete weapon compatibility or percentage stats.
- The final scope or release timing for subtitles.
- Every objective variation or October gameplay item.
