FIELD NOTE 15 / ECONOMY

Weekly Assignments.
Earn Merits.

Four weekly goals, up to six confirmed Merits, and a Tuesday reset.

NMRiH2 provides four Weekly Assignments that reset on Tuesdays. Three assignments award 1 Merit each plus Credits, while the overarching assignment awards another 3 Merits. Completing the full official set therefore awards up to 6 Merits, in addition to the Credits attached to the individual tasks.

Verification scope: Reviewed August 25, 2026. The official 1.0 notes establish the assignment count, reward structure, and Tuesday reset. The developer does not publish a timezone in the cited material, so this page does not invent an exact reset hour.

This structure is why searches for “weekly assignments,” “how to get Merits,” and “weekly reset” belong on one page. They describe one system and should not be split into competing thin URLs.

The official Armageddon notes say the tasks reset every week on Tuesdays. They do not specify one universal timezone or clock time. If the live timer and a third-party guide disagree, use the timer shown in the current game rather than assuming midnight in your own region.

Merits are a free currency exclusive to Assignments. The official 1.0 description connects them to selected cosmetics and powerful items, including the Rescue Beacon. Some appearance options that require thousands of Credits may also be unlocked with a smaller Merit amount.

That does not mean every cosmetic or loadout item accepts both currencies. The Rescue Beacon is specifically identified as the only loadout item purchasable with either Credits or Merits at launch. Check the live store for the currently displayed price and currency options.

CurrencyOfficial acquisition and use boundary
MeritsEarned only through Assignments; used for selected cosmetics and specific powerful items such as the Rescue Beacon.
CreditsPart of the regular progression and extraction economy; also awarded by three weekly tasks and used across loadout, skill, and cosmetic systems.

Merits are not described as a paid currency in the official notes. This page also does not convert Merit value into a fixed Credit exchange rate because the sources do not establish one.

  1. Read all four current Assignment descriptions before starting a match.
  2. Separate the three tasks that each award 1 Merit from the overarching 3-Merit goal.
  3. Follow the exact weapon, mode, or action wording shown in the current build; assignments can be version-sensitive.
  4. Check progress before the Tuesday reset shown by the live game.
  5. Recheck the newest patch notes if a qualifying action does not count.

Hotfix 1.0.4.0 fixed two assignment-related problems: the Weekly Assignment notification could cause controller input loss, and the Fierra DB12 was not being counted as a shotgun. Both fixes are confirmed released.

The published 1.0 structure supports 6 Merits for the full set: three from individual tasks and three from the overarching goal.

Yes. The three individual Merit assignments also award Credits. The cited official summary does not publish one permanent Credit amount for every task.

Yes. The official Armageddon material lists the Rescue Beacon as purchasable with Credits or Merits.

The official source only says Tuesday. Use the current in-game countdown for the exact regional time.

This page does not publish a fixed reset hour, a rotating task list, or permanent item prices. Those details can change without altering the core weekly structure.
